How we make money
VetRxNow is free to use. When you buy through some of our links, the pharmacy, online vet, or insurer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price, and it never changes how we rank anyone.
Free for you
Comparing prices, reading our guides, and joining as a member cost nothing. There is no paid tier.
Paid by partners, not you
Commissions come from the partner. Your price is the same whether you use our link or go to them directly.
Rankings stay independent
No one can pay for a better spot. Results follow our published criteria, not what we earn.
How a commission works
When you click “View deal” and buy, the partner can see you came from VetRxNow and may pay us a referral fee. That is the whole model.
You compare
Search a medication, vet service, or insurance plan and see your options side by side, with the total cost up front.
You choose
Click “View deal” on the option you want. It takes you to the partner’s own website.
You buy on their site
You check out directly with the partner. If they have a referral program, they may pay us a fee. We never handle your payment.
Who pays us
Three kinds of partners may pay us, and each pays a little differently. Rates vary by partner and are set by their referral programs.
Usually a percentage of your order, or a one-time fee when you become a new customer.
Usually a flat fee when you book a visit or start a membership with them.
Usually a flat fee when you buy a policy, and sometimes a smaller fee when you request a quote.
What commissions never change
Earning from partners only works if you can trust what you see here. So these four things are off the table.
Your price
We never add a markup. The price you see is the partner’s price.
Our rankings
Results are ranked by total cost, licensing, how easy it is to get your prescription, and delivery and reviews. Commission is not a factor.
Our safety bar
We only list licensed pharmacies and vet services that require a valid prescription where the law does. No commission gets around that.

Insights articles are written to help you decide. If an article has affiliate links, we say so before the first one.
Membership is free, and stays free
Members get price alerts, refill reminders, and our monthly pet brief at no cost. We earn the same way for members as for everyone else: only when you choose to buy through one of our links.
Giving back
Some members find us through a rescue, shelter, or other pet organization we partner with. When that happens, we share part of what we earn with that organization, at no cost to you or to them.

Do I pay more if I use your links?
No. You pay the partner’s normal price. The commission comes from the partner, not from you.
Can a company pay to rank higher?
No. We don’t sell placement in our results, and what a partner pays us is never part of how we rank.
How do I know which links earn a commission?
Assume any “View deal” link could. We would rather be upfront than have you guess.
Why not charge members instead?
Keeping VetRxNow free means anyone can compare prices before they spend, which matters most when money is tight.
